The article offers the authors' insight on the contribution of polarity proteins on the development processes in the animal kingdom. Authors discuss the study in 1980 which investigates tissue polarity in fruit flies to identify mutant fruit flies with polarity system defects. They mentions various studies conducted by several researchers to analyse the distribution of polarity proteins which could be used to regulate cytoskeleton formation.
