Abstract

In the Mitsui Main Building Block Redevelopment project, the Mitsui Main Building, an important cultural property, was preserved and connected to the neighboring skyscraper Nihonbashi Mitsui Tower by an atrium. In this paper, we report the design process and design methods related to the atrium and the new attempt at the historical wall.
