Abstract

We show that factorization with vacuum insertion, an assumption often made for quark decay topologies in non-leptonic decays (e.g. by the authors of the annihilation model for D → Kπ), overestimates the absolute magnitude of (D+ → K0π+) by a factor 5. It also fails for ΔI = 32 hyperon decays.
