Group I was trained to use an AE 91 im) and Group II one hin each group, teams of two rescuers were formed and tested in a CPR simulation u&g a stae rhythm sequence. The groups were than trathedto use the other AED, and the test was mpeated with the same teams. RuulW Teams using the HS 911 more accurately performed CPR accordtng to current algodthms than those using the HS 3OfM (pc 0.097). CPR was more often interrupted for repeated pulse checks hy those using the HS 3000 (pc 0.005). Conelurion: The use of an AED without a rhythm display resulted in better compliance with current CPR algorithms in this test sequence.
