Abstract

The Cardio-Vascular Construction Kit (CVCK) is a computer-based tutorial utilizing constructive simulation as a means of introducing students in general biology, animal physiology, or comparative anatomy to an understanding of pressure-flow relationships in a cardio-vascular system. In a general way, the program does accomplish its purpose. However, it is very inefficient of both time and disk space. The program is designed for operation on the Macintosh II family of computers, but will run on any Macintosh. At least four megabytes of RAM must be available on the hard disk. The kit includes a student laboratory manual, a user's manual, and two 3.5 in. diskettes.
