Abstract

This paper is focus on the capacity assessment on the emergency power supply in urban power network. The capability assessment of emergency power supply is one of the most important components in the emergency management of urban power network. In recent years, by natural disasters such as ice hazard, earthquakes and other unexpected events, some of Chinese urban power networks have suffered severe damage, resulting in some blackout accidents. To assessment the capability of power supply during emergency, it needs to establish a set of criteria. Based on the assessment, power supply utilities can reasonably instruct the operation, planning and design of power network. This paper proposes an evaluation indexes system for urban emergency power supply capacity, in which include four category of indicators, such as external environmental assessment indexes, network status evaluation indexes, the user needs assessment indexes, and the enterprise's own evaluation indexes.
