Abstract

This issue sees the start of a series of articles on veterinary practice management. In this introductory article the author, Chrissie Ringrose, a practice manager in a seven-vet mixed practice in Wolverhampton, gives a general insight into her role and day-to-day work. In her subsequent articles, which will appear in the next three issues, selected aspects of practice management—namely, practice newsletters, meetings and the practice waiting room—will come under closer scrutiny.
