Abstract

On behalf of the Bridges-Robertson-Schmidt Defense Committee, I cordially welcome you to this meeting. I want to be frank with you. Harry Bridges, Bob Robertson, and Henry Schmidt are in a jam of their own making. If they had been smart, if they had been willing to play the game with the employers as Joe Ryan and his boys do, they would not now be facing jail terms. The headlines in the newspapers in the last few weeks have shouted the story.
