Abstract

The article discusses the legal aspects of the «land plot» concept. The problem of relations between the linear dimensions and the area of the land plots in process of the judicial land management expertise is discussed in this paper. The use of Brahmagupta’s formula for calculating the area of a quadrilateral by length of its sides is substantiated for the cases when a quadrilateral is not necessarily inscribed in a circle. The author calculates a maximum possible quadrilateral area without quadrilateral inscribition in a circle.
