Abstract
This book, subtitled Anthology of Indian Hemp, contains 84 selections from 80 contributors; as the editors state in the introduction, the book presents a wide variety of personal accounts of experiences induced by Indian hemp. This leads to the book's interest and also to its failure to provide the promise on the jacket that it will strengthen the opinion of users of hemp as to its properties: as for decriers of the herb, it may well force them their position of ignorance. An objective view of the contributions would do neither. The anthology is divided into five parts, the first of which is Traces in the Course of History.
