Abstract

We present the first simulations of the Boltzmann-Langevin equation recently introduced for taking into account high order correlations not contained in extended mean field theories. This framework is very promising for phenomena involving large fluctuations such as presumably the formation of Intermediate Mass Fragments in heavy ion collisions at some tens of MeV/A. We apply the simulation to this energy regime and try to exhibit some characteristics of multifragmentation patterns.
