Abstract

This paper discusses some simple mathematical characteristics of critical heat flux correlations and shows how a correlation can be constructed. Further it considers a set of 716 multi-rod experimental data points and compares eight correlations against this data in a one-dimensional calculational context. Finally some one-dimensional versus three-dimensional comparisons are presented.
