Abstract

Objective To investigate the biological effect of anti-CD4 human-mouse chimeric antibody. Methods The effects of anti-CD4 human-mouse chimeric and mouse-derived monoclonal antibody on CD3,PHA,IL-2,proliferation induced by allogenic cells and the propagation of ADCC mediated by these antibodies were observed. Results The propagation of PBMC induced by CD3.PHA,IL-2 and allogenic cells was inhibited bv both the chimeric antibody and mouse monoclonal antibody with the inhibitory activity being directly proportional to the dosage of the antibodies. With a given dosage.the inhibitory activity induced by the chimeric antibody was higher than that by the mouse antibody. Conclusion The killing action of PBMC to cultured tumor cells could be promoted bv both antibodies. Key words: Anti-CD4 chimeric antibodies; Propagation inhibition
