Abstract

In this paper, minimum shift keying (MSK) scheme and Gaussian minimum shift keying (GMSK) scheme used in Short-Range visible light communication(VLC) is presented. The light-emitting diode (LED) model in short-range VLC is introduced, the bit error rate (BER) performance of MSK is compared with GMSK by Monte Carlo simulations and experiments. The results are shown and MSK has the better BER performance than GMSK is verified.
