Abstract
A patient with simple atrophic gastritis and with intestinal metaplasia is described who, over a period of 5 months of corticosteroid therapy (dexamethasone), showed a complete reversion to normal gastric mucosa. During the therapy gastric parietal-cell antibodies remained unchanged.
