The Basra crisis in the articles of Gulf opinion leaders for the year 2018

Abstract

This analytical study seeks to identify the trends of opinion articles in the Gulf press related to the crisis of Basra in 2018 to find out the extent of its authors interest in them and their attitudes towards them, by analyzing the content of the articles of thought leaders published in the sample of the study papers, which are represented in the following Gulf newspapers: (Asharq Al-Awsat, Al-Qabas , Al-Watan Al omania, Al Khaleej , Al- Arabs, and Al – Watan Al Bahraina). The importance of studying the crisis in Basra in the political imagination of the leaders of the Gulf opinion in the sample newspapers of the importance of identifying their position on that crisis and knowing their perceptions of solutions to address them, and the formation of a number of ideas about the crisis through articles published in the sample newspapers.
