Abstract

The barrel vault tibial osteotomy performed for knee varus osteoarthritis avoids the complications of the opening wedge osteotomy and minimizes the potential complications of the lateral closing wedge osteotomy. It allows correction of large varus deformities in knee medial compartment osteoarthritis.
