Abstract

While church union negotiations proceeded with the PCSA and other South African denominations, the BPCSA was also active in the wider ecumenical perspective with the Christian Council of South Africa (later the South African Council of Churches), the Church Unity Commission, the Alliance of Black Reformed Churches in South Africa, the All Africa Council of Churches, the World Alliance of Reformed churches and the World Council of Churches.
