Abstract

Traditional statistical methods of analysis of small samples produce many “false alarms” and a possibility to miss searched information with a high probability. The paper presents formal arguments about the cause of this problem. When finite probability spaces are considered, it becomes possible to use theory of bans and to solve the problem of small samples.
