Abstract

The axisymmetrical laminar boundary layer flow of power-law non-Newtonian fluids along a slender circular cylinder is investigated by obtaining solutions in series form. The effect of the transverse curvature on the skin friction has been found to be significant at moderate and large distances from the leading edge.
