Abstract

We thank Dr. Grimby for raising several thoughtful comments concerning our recent article 1 Shadgan B. Roig M. Hajghanbari B. Reid W.D. Top-cited articles in rehabilitation. Arch Phys Med Rehabil. 2010; 91: 806-815 Abstract Full Text Full Text PDF PubMed Scopus (104) Google Scholar investigating the 100 top-cited articles in rehabilitation journals. Dr. Grimby questions the representativeness of the selection of journals that we have considered for citation analysis of publications in rehabilitation. As we have clearly noted in the study limitations of our article, a systematic and valid approach for defining core journals in rehabilitation and a unified method for identifying all rehabilitation-related articles in the literature are not yet available. 2 Stucki G.
