Abstract
The proton capture on 3H is important to understand various physical and astrophysical processes. In this study, the cross section and astrophysical S-factor of the proton radiative capture on triton were taken into account at low energies. The 3H(p,γ)4He reaction was studied using the E1 transition. The gamma-ray transition is dominated by the E1 multipolarity and by incoming p-waves. The non-resonant astrophysical S-factors for the E1 transition were calculated using the potential model. The results were satisfactorily in good agreement with the corresponding experimental data.
