Abstract

Temporomandibular disorders (TMD) are associated with various types of headaches; not only contributing to their development, also affecting their frequency and intensity. Headaches are one of the most common conditions affecting the general population. We studied the association between temporomandibular joint (TMJ) symptoms as the indication of TMD and headaches, in order to determine whether TMD are associated with headaches.
