Abstract
The report from Kwon and colleagues1 in this issue of The Annals of Thoracic Surgery regarding their single-institution experience with the arterial switch operation (ASO) exclusively utilizing the closed coronary transfer technique documents the technique’s applicability and safety across nearly all variations of coronary and great arterial arrangements in d-transposition of the great arteries. The analysis adds to a relatively small body of literature addressing the closed coronary transfer technique.
