Abstract

This session is an interactive workshop that provides a unique leadership training opportunity by the prominent leader in the field of geriatrics Luanne Thorndyke, MD, immediate past Chair of the AAMC Group on Faculty Affairs, a chair the GFA Membership & Nominating Committee and Tatyana Shteinlukht, MD, Co-Chair of the AAGP Diversity Caucus and the Leader of AAGP of Women's Interest Group. An interactive discussion format will allow a discussion of the differences between “graceful self-promotion” and bragging, and the ways that individuals can strategically gain visibility for themselves and their work within an organization.
