The Approaches to Information Security in Small and Medium-sized Companies in Slovakia: An Empirical Study

Abstract

Securing information security is in the interest of all users of information and communication technologies, namely individuals, businesses and organizations, national authorities and institutions, multinational groups, and IT consulting companies. In this paper, we evaluate the results of our surveys in the field of information security in the sector of small and medium-sized enterprises, which were carried out in the years 2008 - 2020.
