Abstract

Objective To review and analyze documents about anxiety of tumor patients of China in recent ten years, and to critically evaluate the quality of experimental study (RCT) of documents. Methods To retrieve literatures which were published during 2000-2009 on CNKI, to score and analyze the RCT documents critically by improved JBI criterion after classified by research type. Results 447 papers were retrieved. The number of the literatures has increased during the recent ten years( P < 0. 01 ). 96 papers were experimental studies(21.5%), 78 papers were quasi experimental studies (17.4%), quality research was only one (0.2%) ,11 papers were reviews(2.5% ), 62 papers were summaries and thoughts( 13.9% ). The general average score of RCT documents was 13.52, the lowest score was 5 and the highest score was 22 ( full marks was 26 points). The items lost scores: using blind method or not, describing the loss of sample and so on.Conclusions Anxiety of tumor patients research is in the development period, but the whole level need to be improved.
