Abstract

The Ising model provides a useful description for physical systems in which a localized variable can take on either of two discrete values. We have investigated the influence of bond and site dilution on the two-dimensional spin- 1 2 Ising model as a dynamical model on a honeycomb lattice within the finite cluster approximation. We show that the dilute system presents a striking similarity with the pure system.
