Abstract

This research aimed at determining the result of the role playing method application to increase the students’ learning outcomes of Hinduism subject in SDN 4 Tonja Denpasar. This is based on the low learning outcomes of Hinduism especially on the grade V of SDN 4 Tonja Denpasar. The application of classroom action research especially the use of role playing method enables the students to learn in a happy atmosphere and can directly touch the sosiocare side of the students during the role plays a real role in social life. The results showed the score of student learning outcomes in cycle I with an average of 72.06 increased to 78.96 in cycle II, or an increase of 6.9. Absorption rate of 72,06% students in cycle I became 78,96% in cycle II. It means there is an increase in absorption of students of 6, 9%, while the completeness of classes in the first cycle is 79.31% and 100% in cycle II, this means class mastery increased by 20.69%.
