Abstract

As one of the most advanced techniques in the field of underwater acoustics, synthetic aperture sonar(SAS) has a very broad application prospect. This paper studies its application based on the range Doppler algorithm(RDA) in synthetic aperture radar(SAR). Thus, this paper processes the echo signal of point targets through the three modules(range compression, range cell migration correction and azimuth compression) of RDA for side-looking strip-map SAS, and achieves good imaging results.
