Abstract

Objective Investigate the application of oral hypoglycemic drugs in our hospital in 2008 and provide reference data for the rational clinic application of these drugs.Methods Make the statistic analysis of oral hypoglycemic drugs used in our hospital in 2008 in respect of DDDs,consumption sum and averge daily cost etc with using the defined daily dose as the study unit.Results a-glucosidase enzyme inhibitor and sulfonylurea were the top second of five groups of oral hypolycomic drugs in respect of consumption sum;the top fifth of hypoglycemic drugs in respect of DDDs were glimepiride,mefformin,acarbose,repaglinide and gliquidone respectively.Conclusions The clinical use of oral hypoglycemic drugs was basically reasonable in our hospital.
