Abstract

CISPR A/AGH1 are using Numerical Electromagnetic Code (NEC) to determine the 9 kHz–30 MHz theoretical NSA values. The simulation accuracy problem of NEC is noted in CISPR/A/1101/DC. In this paper, the accuracy problem is analyzed over several NEC software. Extrapolation method and associated frequency parameters to solve the accuracy problem are established based on simulation results. Considering the nature of dependency of NSA theoretical values to the simulation parameters, a new approach to define the 9 kHz–30 MHz theoretical NSA values in CISPR 16-1-4 is also presented.
