Abstract

The theory of multiple intelligences was introduced to pediatric clinical teaching of medical students on probation in this paper.According to the students' different sets of intelligences,teachers designed appropriate teaching methods and policies which would promote the students' all-around development.During the pediatric clinical probation the students had the opportunity to not only further develop their dominant intelligences,but also had the opportunity to develop their weaker intelligences.Good teaching effect had been gotten compared with traditional teaching model through students' questionnaire,test scores and teachers' serf-evaluation.It showed that the application of multiple intelligences theory in pediatric clinical teaching for the medical students on probation enlightened the students' clinical thinking,helped the students to develop a sense of serf-confidence,enthusiasm in learning pediatric,thus it helped to cultivate medical personnel of high quality.
