Abstract
Healthcare IT increased the quality of life for the general public by providing medical and health management service customized to consumers and played the role of a bridge for entering into new health care market. Existing healthcare IT services refer mostly to the convergence between IT technology and medical field. Among these, u-Health is the area that is gaining most attention these days. Whereas existing healthcare focused merely on illness prevention and management, these days, many people are interested in health due to increased quality of life. Thus, demand for exercise service such as active sports and sports activities is increasing, and changes are taking place as a result. Accordingly, share of treatment in the health management service market in the future will decrease while share of diagnosis, follow-up management and prevention will increase. Accordingly, health care market will expand to the individuals' health management domain using mobile and wearable devices whereas it was traditionally focused on diagnosis and treatment equipment for treating disease. In particular, exercise service, which includes body type management, sports activities and rehabilitation exercise that is gaining today as a powerful medium for health management is an area that needs to be addressed in the domain of exercise prescription through collected personal data.
