Abstract

The centrifugal water injection pump has a wide application in the oil field, with the major usage in the water injection for the oil well to ensure a smooth operation of the oil production. The sliding bearing, as a critical part within the centrifugal water injection pump, will be subjected to various kinds of failure after a period of operation due to the impact from the factors such as load, installation and lubrication status, which will lead to major loss to the production. The main topic in this research is that the grey theory is used in the failure diagnosis and prediction of sliding bearing on the centrifugal water injection pump, and the equipment operation status is evaluated with the prediction results. The operation status of the sliding bearing on the water injection pump can be displayed via the diagnosis and prediction of the model with a high accuracy on failure diagnosis results, and the prediction results are essentially consistent with the equipment operation situations.
