Abstract

It is easy to cause the stop sets empty set in the BP decoding of fountain codes, which influence the efficiency of decoding. The paper uses an improved decoding algorithm to decode the fountain code. This improved decoding algorithm is applied to image wireless transmission, it is can be seen from the simulation results, the improved decoding algorithm improves the decoding efficiency, and makes image transmission more clear, it effectively improves the reliability of image transmission.
