Abstract

Objective To study the effect of different nutritional assessment methods for patients nursing with gastrointestinal cancer. Methods From January 2016 to December 2016, 96 patients with gastrointestinal cancer in our hospital were selected, all patients were randomly divided into two groups, 48 cases of each group.One group of patients were treated with mini nutritional assessment(MNA) as MNA group.Another group of patients were treated with subjective global assessment(SGA) as SGA group.The hospitalization time and complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results In MNA group, the complication rate of innutrition patients(73.50%) were significantly higher than patients of normal nutrition(7.10%), with statistically significant(P 0.05). Conclusion The nutritional assessment MNA and SGA can effective evaluate patients with gastrointestinal cancer.According to the results of the evaluation of patients with continuous nutrition care can effectively reduce the incidence of complications and help patients recover.There was no significant difference between the two methods in patient care.
