Abstract
Objective To study the application effect of cluster nursing measures in the nursing management of complications of comatose patients in ICU. Methods Comatose patients in ICU from a top-three hospital were selected as the research objects.80 cases of patients who received traditional nursing method from January to December 2012 were selected as the research objects, while another 72 cases of patients who received cluster nursing measures from July 2013 to June 2014 were selected as the experimental group.The incidence of pressure ulcers, pulmonary infection, urinary system infection, deep venous thrombosis, disuse syndrome and constipation of the two groups were compared. Results The incidence of complications of the experimental group was significantly lower than that of the experimental group.And the difference was statistically significant. Conclusions Cluster nursing measures can effectively prevent and reduce the incidence of complications of the comatose patients in ICU. Key words: Cluster nursing; Comatose patients; Complications
