Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical application and effect evaluation of early rehabilitation comprehensive nursing in patients with mechanical ventilation after cardiac surgery. Methods A total of 112 patients who underwent tracheal intubation and ventilator assisted breathing after cardiac surgery in thoracic surgery department of Zhuhai People's Hospital Affiliated to Jinan University from April 2017 to October 2018 were selected. The control group received routine nursing measures after cardiac surgery, and the experimental group received personalized comprehensive nursing plan for early rapid rehabilitation. The success rate of endotracheal intubation, the duration of mechanical ventilation, the total length of hospital stay, and the postoperative occurrence of endotracheal intubation were compared between the two groups. Results The probability of one-time weaning failure in the experimental group decreased from 14.30% to 3.70%, the patients' waking time and mechanical ventilation time were shortened by about 2 days, and the patients' hospitalization time was shortened by 5 days. The overall incidence of adverse events in the experimental group was 3.57%, which was significantly lower than that in the control group (10.70%), and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusions Early rapid rehabilitation comprehensive nursing can shorten the duration of mechanical ventilation, reduce the incidence of ventilator-associated pneumonia, shorten the length of stay, increase the muscle strength of patients, effectively prevent acquired ICU weakness, and improve the prognosis of patients. Key words: Early rapid rehabilitation; Mechanical ventilation
