Abstract

The application of virtual reality technology in architectural landscape design is becoming more and more popular, and its advantages include displaying the whole building information, improving network practicability, multi-scheme analysis and comparison, and establishing good dedicated human-machine interface interaction. Landscape architecture planning and design based on VR assistive technology mainly includes the overall design of the system, the class definition of VRML nodes and 3D objects, and the VR scene optimization based on LOD hierarchical detail algorithm. Through the example analysis, the project overview, landscape model establishment and virtual interaction scene realization are discussed. Finally, through the questionnaire reliability test and user experience evaluation, the park landscape design of A city is comprehensively reviewed, indicating that virtual reality technology has a wide range of application prospects in landscape design.
