Abstract

Objective Discuss the applicaions of impulse oscillometry(IOS) in airway responsiveness measurement. Study the parameter of IOS value which significant to the diagnosis of bronchial asthma(asthma). Methods Select 35 patients according to the inclusion criteria and the exclusion criteria.Compared each parameter of pulmonary ventilation function with IOS,and analyse the relativities between IOS and each pulmonary ventilation function,discuss the value of IOS parameter in airway responsiveness measurement.Study the parameter of IOS value which significant to the diagnosis of asthma,discuss the function of IOS in the diagnosis of asthma. Results ①R5,R20,R5-20,X5,Fres,Alx and FVC,FEV1,FEV1% pred,PEF,MMEF possesed differences in positive group and negative group before and after dilation test. ②Before dilation,R5-20,Fres,Alx and FEV 1,FEV1% pred,FEV1/FVC%, PEF,MMEF has positive correlation.After dilation,R5-20,Fres,Alx and FVC,FEV1,FEV1% pred,FEV1/ FVC%,PEF has negative correlation. ③Regression analysis showed that there is a regression relationship between the multiple of change of eX5 and the result of pulmonary ventilation function method of lines the dilation test. ④ROC curve states that the multiple of change of X5 and Alx are better than the variation of FEV 1 on the diagnosis of asthma. Conclusions IOS can sensitively reflect the airway diastolic change after β-receptor stimulant inhalation.The multiple of change of Alx is the most sensitive index for the diagnosis of asthma.
