Abstract

The antibody binding test after some modifications was found useful for quantitative determination of rabies virus antigen. Reproducibility studies showed that results of repeated tests were less variable when compared with the NIH test. The advantages of the ABT are discussed. This test seems to be more exact, more reliable and more reproducible than the NIH test and is a good method for in process control of inactivated Rabies virus antigen.
