Abstract

The authors briefly discuss the advantages intercapsular cataract extraction with the insertion of a posterior chamber lens resting on the anterior capsule may have over more conventional techniques in the case of extensive posterior capsule damage. Two cases of cataract extraction in the presence of posterior capsule rupture are presented for evaluation.
