Abstract

In this work the conditions which determine the anomalous variation of the successive molecular ionization energies are pointed out. It is shown that such variation is realized when the strong electron-vibrational interaction exceeds the Coulomb electronic repulsion at the change of the number of electrons in molecules. The interrelation between this effect and the mechanism of the two-electron disproportion reaction is discussed.
