Abstract

Previous work has shown that anisotropic plasticity theory does not hold for all metals. One of these metals was aluminium, and the purpose of the present work is to investigate this anomaly further by studying its behaviour in uniaxial and biaxial tension. The results of this investigation confirm the previous findings.
