Abstract

An illustrative analysis of the magnetic shielding factor offered by a circular cylindrical anisotropic shell reveals the expedience of undertaking in-depth theoretical and experimental research efforts in the field of diverse electromagnetic shields based on anisotropic materials. Such efforts may promote the development of new technologies for producing materials with an adequate degree of anisotropy and thereby provide dramatically improved shielding performance.
