Abstract

With the rapid development of power grid, new energy access, power electronic devices, series compensation devices and high voltage direct current transmission are widely used, which makes subsynchronous oscillation occurring more and more frequently in power system, and brings great hidden danger to the safe and stable operation of power grid. It is particularly important to implement online monitoring and disturbance source locating of subsynchronous oscillation quickly and accurately. This article use interpolation FFT algorithm and transient energy flow method to implement the analysis system of online monitoring and disturbance source locating for SSO. At the same time, the practicability and accuracy of subsynchronous disturbance monitoring and oscillation source locating provided by the system are fully verified by comparing the actual data of the actual power grid operation data and the output case data of the simulation system. The operation of the system provides a powerful tool for dispatchers to deal with the subsynchronous oscillation events quickly, and ensure the safety and stability of the operation of the large power grid better.
