  • This study was aimed to analyze the policy on new-renewable energy by examining Innovative Program for ConvertingGarbage into Energy in Kepanjen District, Malang Regency

  • The program for renewable energy development was already stated in Local Regulation (Perda) No.2/2011 on Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) for period to 2015

  • Based on data analysis with policy theory which applied Friedrich’s institutional model, it was found that governmental response for implementing regulationon new-renewable energy was only for the sake of formality
