Abstract
The following research aims to analyze the media constituent of the two prime-ministers twitter accounts which are: Theresa May, the prime minister of the United Kingdom and Justin Trudeau, the prime minister of Canada. By means of this research, it is planned to find out some key features of the communication ways of each politician. As a result, all differences will be analyzed along with taking into account all special characteristics of both prime ministers. The data for this research was taken from the current politicians’ Twitter accounts. In order to explore how the prime ministers of Canada and the UK position themselves through social media, 70 photos of each on their official Twitter pages were examined (140 in total) through some criteria. The two politicians were selected due to the fact of their such high commands and the contrary held ideologies: Theresa May positions herself as a one-nation conservative and Justin Trudeau is the Leader of the Liberal Party. The vested interest of these prime-ministers made them reliable resources: each politician has a different approach to their Twitter accounts.
