Abstract

The crime is inevitably the product of collective nature of humans’ life and since humans have had the social life from the very beginning thus there was also delinquency in trend of their life. Coincided with development of communities and creation of cities and villages, some crimes may gradually take place that belong to one of the urban or rural societies in terms of type or frequency of their occurrence. As a general concept, crime stems from the community and it is deemed as subordinate of social life. At present, this has been proved almost for all the people that despite of serious controls, this phenomenon is going to occur in all of communities and taking various policies of social control will affect only on reducing the rate and intensity or their impacts but it will not lead to omission of criminals entirely. This is because of the special structure in social communities and conflicts, which is unwantedly led to preparation of grounds for crime. We examine the role of cultural and social institutions in prevention from delinquency and spreading the culture for controlling crimes in this essay. Similarly, it will be implied that prevention from crime and delinquency will not result in appropriate outcome without public assistance and participation and cultural institutions so the governmental movements will not be adequate for this purpose since the crime is a social bottleneck and any citizen and cultural and social institute is responsible for control and prevention from the crime. As a result in this investigation, the role of cultural institutions will be explored and analysed in prevention from crime and delinquency.
